The workshop brings together experts in variational analysis, equilibrium and optimization problems to have a nice overview of recent trends in these intertwined research areas. The workshops aims at celebrating the 60th birthday of Gabor Kassay, a renowned scholar who contributed to the advancement of these areas. Kassay has strong ties with Italy and long standing collaborations with colleagues in L'Aquila, Milano and Pisa, who joined together to organize this two-day meeting.

The workshop will take place on Monday afternoon and Tuesday morning.
